Florida Select 

Prospect Select is excited to have you at the Florida Select on September 7th. Each player will participate in a Scout Day, of no more than 50 players, to showcase in front of the college coaches that attend this event. Each Position Player/Two-Way Player will go through a Pro Style Workout and Batting Practice and all of the players (Position Players, Two-Way and Pitcher Only) will play an extended game where pitchers will throw live to hitters. 

We will have 15-20 College coaches across all levels of college baseball in attendance to evaluate and recruit players. We are constantly adding coaches to the event so please check back periodically for the list. 

Registration Details: When Registering for the Florida Select, keep the following in mind:

Position Players: Will participate in the Pro Style Workout, Batting Practice and Game

Two-Way Players: Will Participate in the Pro Style Workout, Batting Practice and THROW 1 INNING IN THE GAME

Pitcher Only: Will THROW 2 INNINGS IN THE GAME

Player Showcases have become one of the top avenues to get your name in the spotlight and catch the attention of college coaches. Prospect Select provides a premier showcase for every player to showcase their abilities in a Pro Style Workout format in front of 20+ college coaches.

Each player who attends a Prospect Select Showcase will have access to our new cutting-edge data-driven Player Profiles. Each player profile will house everything you need in one location, creating a one-stop shop for college coaches and scouts on the recruiting trail.

Metrics we collect at all of our events include: 30 Yard Time, 60 Yard Time, Grip Strength, Wingspan, Vertical Jump, Position Velos, Catcher Pop Times. Also, during Batting Practice and Games/bullpens, data is collected with Flightscope X3B. Our Flightscope X3B tracking systems are a next level radar software that produces data in any setting, live-games, showcases, batting practice, bullpens, etc. Data collected during the hitting portion of our showcase include Exit Velocity, Launch Angle, Distance and Barrel Percentage. Data collected during the bullpens/games include velocity, spin rate, vertical and horizontal break, vertical and horizontal approach, extension and much more! All of this data will be available for college coaches and scouts to view for players to use to market themselves.

Our Player Profiles will also house professionally filmed Recruiting Video when they attend a showcase, so the college coaches can see first-hand the numbers each player puts up at a showcase. Also, included in your profile will be any game footage collected at one of our tournaments, so coaches can easily see you are capable of doing it in a game, too!
